can you put 05-07 GT wheels on 99-04 GT

Default can you put 05-07 GT wheels on 99-04 GT
I'm just looking for what I can fit on an 02 GT.
I just got some 245/40/17 goodyear eagle GS-CS race tires and now I'm looking for an extra set of wheels.
What about 94-98 wheels.
I know the backspacing is not the same but will any of them fit.

The backspacing makes them look horrible, at least that is what I have seen.
I saw one SN95 stang with 05 wheels on it and it looked like a milk truck.
Horrible.

Not sure how he made them fit, but it didn't matter.

they will fit but they will sit tucked in. you have to use some hubcentric spacers to make up for the different backspacing.

I think he means the backspacing in general and not just those wheels. 05+ have Bullitt's too.
