Biggest Tire on 9in. Wheel?

whats the biggest tire i can fit on a 9in wheel without any problems? 275?

I've heard 245 for 8, 275 for 9 and the 315s are reserved for 10.5s. This has something to do with avoiding rim damage if you have a blowout. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

On my stock 17x8 I'm running 275/40 on the back for 3 years now. No problems.

im running 245 on my 9 inch rim and my rims popping out a little..i really need bigger tires..**** my mechanic =\

245's are too small for 9 inch. 245's come stock on 17x8's. I say 275 on a 17 or 18x9 rim.

i know they are 2 small..when i try doing donuts i can sometimes feel the rim tire coming off the rim..i need new tires but i dont wanna pay the money right now.
