Every now and then when im driving ill attempt to come to a stop and my entire car shuts off. the power steering goes out and engine shuts off and brakes do not work. It only happens when im coming to a stop pushing the clutch in. and every now and then my car refuses to crank for about a minute and just turns over. ive been told to change spark plugs and fuel filter and thatll fix the prob but im not sure. could it be fuel pump. or something bigger?

Sadly that is a common problem, I have had mine shut off a couple of times, pretty scarry when you loose power steering at 70mph[:-]

hell yes....i was turning into my road which has a creek on both sides and it shut off with a bus coming and i was only doin 20 but there was a car in the other lane exiting my road and that bus was hauling a$$
