Default Under car ram air kits?

Whatz up guys, just wanting to know if anyone has one these ram air induction kits on their 4.6L. From what I understand an intake scoop is mounted under the right front corner of the car and a flex hose runs up to a replacement air box with a re-use filter. The kits i've seen run about $145. Just wandering what are you guys opinions on these?

Under car ram air=hydrolock. The result of sucking water into theintake is a trip to the bank and a new engine, play it safe and stick to a cai and avoid puddles.

You do know your engine is a giant vacum right. Take a vacum and put the hose by some water and rocks and see what happens and think if thats what you want your engine to do.

NOOO!!!!! i just got my car back from the shop not too long ago because it was hydrolocked. TRUST ME, unless you have an extra 5k or good insurance coverage DONT DO IT!!! I didn't have the ram air kit but i did have the CAI kit that went all the way down the fender. Just keep ur stock intake, get a K&N filter, remove the air silencer and call it a day!
