I did my catback and midpipe on jackstands in m garage. Youll need a bunch of extensions, deep sockets, swivel joint, breaker bar, some beer, and all the cuss words in the book. Dont forget the PB blaster either to soak the bolts in on the manifold to midpipe connection. Also do yourself a favor a pick up a new gasket for the midpipe to manifold connection on the passenger side.

It not to hard. Jack, jack stands, pb blaster, swivel socket (18mm)......and the usual stuff. Passenger side header bolts are the worst. Don't forget the 02 sensor socket.

The passenger side manifold bolts will be the hardest part. Check out mustangworld . com They have a writeup on the install in their how-to section. I can`t post the link because it will be blocked here.

+1 on the beer and cuss words. The passanger side will be a bitch. I have an 02 gt also...like i tell most people, i tried to use an air wrench and hammer wrench, the best thing to use when those bolts don't budge is a breaker bar...depending on your jack you can use the handle and slide it over the wrench to get the leverage you need. I believe you'll need both a 15 and 18mm deep socket and 12" extension and a u joint. good luck... you'll love the new sound.
