Default do i need a gasket for this?

Hi im from the v6 section(yea i kno it sucks thats why im buying a GT lol)....well anyway my girl has a 03 GT with an offraod h pipe and i have to switch her stock h pipe back becuase of emissions this week.....ive done my exhuast work on my stang but ive heard you need a gasket at the manifold connection for the h pipe....is this true?

It might help to prevent an exhaust leak, but if it is the stock one, she might have the original gasket still. Don't know if you must use it though, but it couldn't hurt.

yea ill see i mean its only temporary until she passes emission then the O/R goes back for that sweet flowmaster sound! (the reason i wanna get a v8) haha

so you drive the 6 cylinder, the girl drives the 8 cylinder, and you work on the 8 cylinder for her. hmm, must be some good head on a serious note, you shouldnt reuse exhaust gaskets from what i have gathered, but if its just for emissions, i wouldnt worry about it too much.

i didnt put the o/r pipe on for her....i just wasnt sure if there was a gasket or not at the manifold collecter where it connects to the h pipe....i guess there is
