Default is something wrong?

(automatic trans)
so i'm comming home from running some errands and notice about ~20hp missing when i ram it down while getting on the highway
- when i hit it and let off the pedal at about 5500 it just stays there for a second or two.. the needle on my tach delays for a moment before returning back to regular throttle

it looks like it's having a hard time guessing when to shift to 4th as well

i'm going to the dealership for a diagnostic too, i just recently started getting this ticking sound.. sounds like fuel injectors but who knows... anyone know what might be going on? or am i just paranoid

Forgive me but I am just curious. How do you know you are now minus ~20 HP?
