New parts for the rearend?Help!

Default New parts for the rearend?Help!

Hey guys i think my dad is going to loan me the money for my rearend.Does this sound right for allof the parts that i needand the price.A eaton posi differentails 28 spline around $550,3.90 or 4.10 gears(can decide)around $150-175 and a complete bearing and shimsinstall kit $70-80.Is That all i need

You have 3:73's already and you want to change them out??? I really wouldn't waste your money on that stuff especially since you already have a descent gear set-up. Def don't go from 3:73- 3.90's that's just silly. Also 4:10's are more like $225 and I would highly recc. getting FRRP's for easy fitment issues. Also I would get FRRP bearings or atleast make sure the bearings are brand name like Timken as used By Ford! I picked up a complete set new on ebay for $130 shipped retails for $300 with gears and everything! 3:73's though.

I got an eaton posi and moser 31 splines for $550 from www.bbandtracing.com click on moser. The last time I looked I didn't see that same package but I'd try to call and see what they can do for you, hell for the same price you'd be crazy not to.

I have found 4.10s for $159 though motive

Sorry i never mess with a rearend before.When u say 31 splinedoes that mean the axleand i havent found any cheaper then $215for them or is there something to turn your axles into 31 spline.

I didnt c anything for the eaton at that site.About the cheapest i havr found is $449 for the 31 spline eatonand $559 for the 28 spline eatonand if i go with the 31 spline eaton then the cheapest 31 spline axles is around $215

Thanks for the help and please letme know ifu fine anything cheaper because its myd-driver and im fixing to order the stuff in the next few days.I would love to go the 31 spline way but that way would be more

Looks like there adding the auburn instead of the eaton in the 550 package.I think thats what there saying when that said auburn heavy duty
