Default Flywheel Differences?

I'm in the process of changing motors in my 2000 GT. The motor im putting in in from an earlier 4.6.. How many different flywheels are there? My 2000 GT was an 8 Bolt. I got another flywheel that was a 6bolt but the clutch's pressure plate and the flywheel holes dont line up at all.

I'm wondering how many combinations there are. Or are there only 2? 6 bolt and 8 bolt, and I guess that they need the 6 or 8 bolt specific clutch setup?
