Default Best Heads out There??

Well I blew a damn spark plug and stripped the threading for the plug in the head. Most likely the head will need to be removed and fixed and blah blah blah, its' gonna be upwards of 500 bucks just to fix them. I'm debating on just buying some heads and possibly some cams to make it a clear swap. I've been looking at some mmr stage 2 heads fully assembled for 1400 bucks. They come with pi cams already, but I may upgrade to some bullit cam shafts for 500 more. Anyone have experience with mmr products?? What are some other companies making heads now, I've looked at vt, but they're a bit spendy. Any insight would be helpful fellas, thanks.

Stein racing, livernois, boss 330 racing, modular depot, MMR, ModPowrhouse to name a few great ones. I would personally go with Modular pwrhse for a 2v head though they are all worthy.

I'm leaning towards them right now because they seem to have the best price. I just want to make sure they area respected company. I'm considering a set of stage 1 heads and a nice set of stage 2 cams, does that sound like a good streetable set up with my current set up?

if you can afford it, get stage 2 or 3 heads... its still very streetable..... those stage 2 cams will flow great with some worked heads... you cant take the motor up high enough for the cams.. but the heads will make up for that... with a set of stage 2 heads, stage 2 cams, and a tune... your looking at 300rwhp im guessing.. and 400rwhp on that 100 shot.

The Ford Racing/SVO heads are the best heads...they are not cheap but have more threads in the spark plug well.

The only problem with that is using either the very expensive SVO intake or a non pi intake.[:'(] Otherwise I agree with you. The SVO heads are an amazing set of heads for the 2v.
