i think you should just add power because weight dosint do a hole lot it helps but more power works better unless u r trying to save on gas
THAT IS HORRIBLE advice. Weight reduction is much more of a key than alot of power.

yep yep yep evan littel things to the engine helps more than weight and if you add power u will fill it and i ****in love that filling
PLEASE, please enlighten us on how you came up with this tid bit of information. Is it from experience or from what you have heard? For arguments sake, what do you drive, what is your power to weight ratio and what kind of times are ya putting down? I am anxiously awaiting your response.

This area is for Tech info and advice. If you are gonna talk out of your A$$, please spend more time reading, researching and learning...so your responses will be more educated rather then just taking up space. Okay? THANKS

15 inch aluminum wheels with15x3 upfront and 15x8 in the back. Makes a world of difference and feels like adding at least 30hp.....

thanks for the replies guys. I already am putting down 440whp and 470wtq, so i figured some different weight reduction things would help a little. One of the next steps for me is building the block, and i dont really have the money for that right now
get a tubular front end suspension. and convert to coilovers. a lightweight flywheel and aluminum driveshaft can help as well. there are tons of things you can do to reduce weight.

man there is some bad information in this thread. Yes HP is nice and so is a car that is lighter. But the one thing that noone has mentioned in all the crap in here is that one of the main benefits of lightweight parts such as wells, tires, etc is that is is not as hard on driveline parts. You are lesslikely to snap an axle if the wheels that the axles turn are light weight.
