You got no mods yet so I would atleast go for a shifter, might I suggest the MGW short throw. Got mine for Xmas, won't be able to put it in 'til spring, but it is one of the nicest pieces I have ever seen. Real winner right out of the box.

You have never seen your stock shifter have you? Your's bends too. The other sticks aren't bent and usually are harder to reach depending on how you sit.
