dad took did this to his SRT-8...
he removed relay/fuse idk whut it was, it had 4 prongs. and in two of the openuings he put wire in it which made the fans run constant(just for the track) is it possible to do that to our cars without getting a tuner?

I know you can wire your electric fan to a switch and turn it on and off when ever you want

Sure it's possible, but do you really need it? I ran my car on the track all day long...thats road course (90-100mph for 10 minutes)...not 14 second sprits every hour...and she ran at operating temp. all day. Never once went over the middle of the guage.

My dad did this onour hand-builtShelby Cobra, but he's got 4 electric fans, and his car overheats all the time. Thats the only reason he did it.

How about just getting a different thermostat? It will significantly cool off the car. A combo of the two would be even better.

You can go to your local auto parts store and pick up a 180* thermostat. That doesn't take long at all.
