yeah, 01gttype mirrored the image on my sig, so the emblem is bass-akwards, but I like it, not the emblem, but the sig.

may I suggest not using a gasket and use rtv instead. Did it with my other car and it work great.

there isRTV sealant on there already..........

could i just add another line? it's only leaking on the bottom about a 2-3 inchstretch..... if iblow thegear oil out with an aircompressorand add the RTV on top of what's there?

or just replace it?

Dont think that will do it. Best thing to do is get High Temp RTV silicone, remove the cover. Scrape the old silicone and gasket off both sides. Clean and dry housing and cover (can even paint it to make it look pretty). Add a line of silicone and put cover back on. I like to wait atleast 30 minutes before putting oil back in. Only bad thing about this is you will have to buy new gear oil unless you get a clean pan and collect the oil to reuse it (if it is still in good condition).

Yea^ I doubt just putting some rtv on where it is leaking is gonna do anything, just pull the cover and scrape all the crap off then lay down a nice thick bead of rtv.
