5.4's dont rev high in the trucks but MMR said they love to rev in stangs. . . . With the forged and balanced crank revs shouldnt be that big of an issue . . . but if i redline at 6k that'd be no good.
Wouldn't itrev the same, whether is a mustang or F-150?

So you think 4.30s and a 100 shot is too wild mitch?
Possibly. I can't remember the exact reason Brian told me. I will be talking to him tomorrow, so I will get the info for ya. Like I said, I am running a 28" tire with my 2 step set at 6500 and rev limiter is at 6800. With my new Manley springs, my rev limiter will raise to about 7300+.

I am also upping to a 200 shot, that might be the reason for the "no" to 4.30's.

With a built 4.6 or 5.4 and a 100-125 shot, you should KILL the Roach and the Vortech'd GT. "I" would do a little more research on the 5.4. I did ALOT when I was planning my build and a 5.4 was my first choice until I really started checking the HP payout against the $$ payout. Just my .02.

i'm running a 125 wet shot and i have 4.10s and cams. i like the combination so far but i need to get some slicks. i think i'm gonna runa 27' mt slick. i was thinking of a 28' but people have said its too tall and that a 26 should work but im thinking the 27' tire will work well for me. i still have more power to be made with lt's and such so it should be perfect.
