if i erase my check engine like because i have an o/r mid pipe... will the check engine like still work as normal...... ( like if my car for sum reason started mis firing, would the light still go on? )

You need mils or a tuner to turn off your rear 02 sensors to keep the CEL off. If you just erase it, it will come back on. If you do it right, the CEL will work like it should for other codes.

obd claims it erases it from the computer, doesnt just shuit it off.... so the cel should work normal for everything else?

It will work for everything else but you still need to turn off the rear02`s.
If you don`t, it will come back on.

just get some mils or make them if you dont feel like spending money. i made a set and am about to install them. a guy on here said they worked for him and gave me the directions. goodluck
