Default Rebuilt transmisions?

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to buy a rebuilt T-45? Mine is gonna cost like $1200 to rebuild and it looks like it would be cheaper to buy a rebuilt one and have my dad and I install it.

Follow up question.... how long does it take to rebuild a tranny for some one that knows how? Im gonna be at my parents in two weeks and my dad has a huge garage and is extremely mechanically inclined.

If he's done it before, should onlytake a few days!

We decided against it, Im only gonna be home for like 2 weeks, and I dont wanna run into a snag where I have to start ordering extra parts and waste a whole lot of time. I guess Ill just save for a TKO 500 and put it in when the wife and I buy a house with a garage.
