Fords are notorious for rust?

Fords are notorious for rust?
My friend told me that Fords are notorious for their engines to rust, is this true? I checked my coolant and there is a little bit of Mississippi mud in there but not much. Itstill isgreen just the sides of the clear plastic has the Mississippi mud. Should I stillflush it or leave it? Hasanybody have the same thing?

Thanks for the info. My friends at my school made bets to when my car was going to break down because it is a ford but my car proved them wrong. Still is running strong! I wish there is a way to get to the public that Ford is not a bad company.

What the heck is engine rust? Metal rusts obiously.
The '65-'66 were really bad about floor rust because the cowls would get full of crap and instead of draining properly it would run down the firewall. Still have a 66 with the cowl panel torn out among other things.
Give it enough time and any car's going to rust.
'80's f150's were pretty bad about rear fender well rust too.

I get crap too. Too bad their cars are worse off. Mostly they're just messing around cause they know i'll give them the rundown on why Ford>GM and they don't know enough to have a rebuttal.
