Default upgraded alternators?

I'm sure there are other people on here with a sub/amp combo in their stang that tax the power output....like at night with the lights on and music going, trying to roll down the windows becomes nice and slow....and even using a blinker light, the headlights become noticeably dimmer.

Is this something that can be fixed with a higher output alternator alone? or is there more electrical things needed? Different battery? Upgraded wiring harness?

I want my stang to be as practical and useful as its going to be fast....so all the little details are really important to me....

Really all depends on what and how much power you are running. Click this link.....

Make sure you get a nice chrome one! That would look much better than the stock turd that's in there. Check powermaster, tuffstuff and PA performance.

It may be the only time in life where this statement is true but:

"Bigger is better"

Oh yea, make sure you have a nice fresh battery to go along with that monster.
A sick battery will suck up alternator cycles.

Good luck!

P.S. Look at PA for parts.
