but see the thing about gears.... if you only have a few hundred to spend your gonna shoot yourself in the foot. its like 210 for gears and the install kit depending on where u get them from, then you have to pay for install. so ur looking at like 450-500 bucks, atleast with a tb/plenum you can get the combo for 225 shipped nd install urself for instant gradification

no, cept a little faster throttle response. i was more than dissappointed when I installed my TB/Plenum and felt the difference (or lack of much of one). It made the exhaust note deeper on my original exhaust though, and that's pretty sweet. The actual work itself is what I liked though
