Default grill delete problem

just have a quick question on the install, i can't get the stupid torx-headed screw off, i've tried 7 different sized drivers and none seem to fit right. The screw has a small nipple thingy in the middle of the top which isn't allowing any of the driver heads to fit; anybody know what the deal is? thanks in advance

Are you talking the little plastic screws on the top? I had to use a knife to pry up on the head of the screw a bit while turning them, they popped right up after that.

Or are you talking about something else?

no not the plastic clips, just use 2 flathead screwdrivers and they "pry" off super easy

If you are talking about the 4 skrews that attach to the bottom, just use a 7 mm wrench. They will come right off.

nah i got those off, there's 1 screw that's apparently a "tamper proof torx" screw holding the piece with the 2 oval holes onto the frame of the car

sears didnt have anything cheap so i just bought a set of tamper proof security bits online for 10 bucks, thanks for the help/input guys, hopefully this goes smooth from here on out, though i'm sure i'll encounter some crazy problem
