Just got my Bassani X-pipe

RE: Just got my Bassani X-pipe
i'm pretty novice when it comes to this stuff, i mean i took years of woodshop in highschool and can work well with my hands, but just an FYI if you haven't installed a catback already and/or taken a peak at the xpipe connections it will be an annoying install if you're working alone. I installed my steeda catback on my 99 a few years ago when the car had probably 60K on it and i swear to you getting those rusted bolts off was so incredibly frustrating. After probably 2 hours I eventually just used a cutting wheel and hacked away, for another 2-3 hours, but at 6'3" 230 i was extremely crammed and had a cutting wheel a few inches from my face; not comfy!
If you can afford to pay to have it done or are at all worried about the install I personally say just pay to have it done, just my opinion.

I installed a Flowmaster cat back exhaust right after I bought the car. It had around 12k miles on it, so the bolts were cake to get off. The hardest part was getting the rubber exhaust support off of the bracket...what a pain. Trying to pull those off with a partially torn rotator cuff was not a fun experience...lol. anyhow I think the gaskets should be in good shape at this point. Not even 20k on the car yet. Just trying to gauge the project using a hydraulic jack, ramps and jack stands. Thanks for the feed back.
