Default Royal Purple 10w30

Tried it for the first time. Car feels great I love it. Although it only took 5qts I read somewhere the 2000 gt uses 6qts. Typo on someones part? Either way if you've never tried it give it a go.

I agree, I am a fan of the royal purple myself but 10w30 is to thick of an oil. You should be using 5w20.

maybe since the car is made for thinner 5w20??? think the oil filter is good for what .5 quarts max.

The motor was built by the previous owner so it could have a girdle or something else on the bottom end maybe. But I checked a few times hot and cold its reading right on with 5qts. And according to royal purple's website i should be running 20w30 (for the blown applications) but that seemed way to thick for me.
