Well unless you want to bump timing up or down... reset your speedo for a gear install or something of the sort I would recommend you get a dyno first and see if you are really in need of a tune. I went yesterday with a group of guys and had a dyno done and my A/F ratio was PERFECT all the way across the board. The guy told me that a tuner would probably hurt me in the end because its set up pretty well at this point. I was extremly happy.

you are running that chip from md though right? That would explain the a/f since that is what the chip does heh

Yes but mods will change the a/f some. He just happened to have the exact same mods as me lol! At any rate, chips / programmers are underrated - You get great power all accross the curve with a good tune, its like buying a speedcal, timing adjustor, a/f tune (that only a chip / tuner can give), calibrate shift points on a tranny, etc.

yeah im pretty stock, all i have is in my slp cat back K&N cold air and i just put on steeda pullies...i was gonn get the timing adjuster but found it to be really useless if i just got the tuner that actually does so mch more..and i do plan to get gears and such so i think the tuner would be a good stepping stone...somethign to consider now for the future mods..
