Your Girlfriend/Wife will leave you J/K

In limp home mode, the computer uses assumed values to control fuel and spark rather than measured (and constantly adjusted) values. This results in poor fuel economy and bad driveability.

Not having mils will not make your car run bad. You will just have to look at that light in the dash.

Not having properly functioning front O2 sensors would cause the problems you describe...

well i just put on a o/r x pipe and short frpp headers. i shouldnt have had to mess with the front o2's right. im putting on the mils today so maybe that will change something. basically the car makes a knocking noise some of the time, only when i step down on the gas pedal, also when im cruising and step on the gas pedal, when the tach goes beyond 2,000 rpms, the car like spudders and hesitates to give out more power. that is all i have to tell you really, that is all it does and those are the mods i just recently did. thanks guys

It's not possible to install shorty headers and an o/r X-pipe without "messing" with the front O2 sensors. They'd need to beremoved from the OEM H-pipe (and perhaps unplugged from the connectors--though I've done it just byunscrewing the sensors and letting the wire twist up)--so I'd make sure they are there and connected...

i didnt reset my ecu. i did take out the front o2s when i installed my headers and x pipe but put them back in. the check engine light didnt come on for like 3 weeks and i just put my mils on today. how do i reset my ecu. my car spudders like crazy and its so frustrating. also when it sputters sometimes its like their is a knock under the front right part of the car. i thought suspension but its only when i get on the car, or their is a load on the car and it sputters.
