Default choosing new Cat Back

had mac catback and just blew out the baffles in the mufflers. I am replacing the whole cat back system as i just installed frpp headers and a pypes o/r x pipe. im thinking about the bassani BX cat back, just wondering if the aluminized steel will hold up. i wont drive it in the winter and hardly in the rain. i like flowmaster but you cant just by the whole system with the mufflers you want always. So im looking at Bassani BX Cat Back because i dont have 700 to spend on the whole stainless, maybe SLP i dont know much about them though, or magnaflow... Please help me out

this is all by opinion
1. if the bassani bx series will hold up, and if it will sound crappy.

2. is magnaflow good and how will it sound with my set up.

3. slp and how they sound and which one is the best way to go.

thanks sorry i was not really specific i was just rambling.

I have no clue what bassani sounds like in person but i can tell you its excelent quality.

Magnaflow is also very good quality and its one of those brands where some love it and some hate it. I have heard the magnaflow with an O/R X before and it sounded good but on decel it popped ALOT.

SLP is also a very good brand. The loudmouths are VERY loud.

I would recomend looking up alot of clips on each setup and go from there. Try youtube and streetfire.

Magnaflow stainless would run you about $460 shipped on ebay I have a different setup but was torn between Magnapacks and Steeda an opted for Steeda so it would not be as loud but have nice sound and quality. I got Steeda today for $535 shipped from American Muscle.

Did you like your old catback? If you did, stick with MAC but get it stainless steel. It's only $400.

I did a lot of looking through soundclips and I think I found what I wanted with a magnaflow c/b (paired with an o/r prochamber). Packages should start arriving tomorrow.
[sm=happybounce.gif]Hopefully I'll like the sound.

My advice is go to streetfire, youtube, or anywhere else you can find some soundclips and do some research that way. Otherwise, ALL you will get is opinions, totally subjective. Find what YOU like.

I have heard a full bassanai exhaust and I'm nota big fan of the 4.6 sound but this setup made my pee pee hard.
