I just got my vortech and im really excited... I was just wondering is there anything that i need to know about installing it before we start.. stuff that the instructions might leave out...???

I would lovefor the power to be there all the time but on the otherhand i would (wreck,break,tickits,etc.) all the time

Yes,when tapping the oil pan make sure that you dont run the pipe tap more than 1/4-1/2 way through.If you go more than that the hole will be too big and youll have leaks forever. Dont trim anything from the timing cover unless you are positively having contact with the bracket or pullies. Some cars will fit those parts without trimming. Go ahead and replace your belt tensioner before you get started, even if it doesnt seem to be bad. Youll avoid any belt tension/tracking problems that alot of people have when they first install the kit. Itll be hard to get the belt on but with time and patience youll get it done. Congrats, this will turn your car into a whole different animal!

Welcome to the wonderful world of F/I!!!!!Congrats...only thing I can think of is the walboro pump is crap...buy an svt focus pump assembly (ebay 100.00)and install that!...
