Default I'VE HAD IT!!

every time i go over a bump i hear some weird rattling / pinging sound from the back of my car..what do i do and how do i figure out what it is?? is it something i can tighten and does anyone have this as well ?

its american. mine creaks and rattles just as much. turn up the music and role the windows down....problem fixed

could it be your exhaust hitting something? if not, check your control arm and sway bar bushings.

i have the same problem at first it sounded like it was coming from the back but then i noticed it was the leg under the hood that holds up the hood, my bracket where it stays down is broken so it's never really in place hope that helps. It doesn't matter what kind of car you drive eventually they all rattle.

Jack it up and see if anything is loose. Could be a bushing
