Why 28? Why not 31??

[hr]

Because, I'm 19 years old and I have an8 month old baby boy (my buddy)to take care of, and I dont have the money for all the other stuff you have to havein order to install the 31 spline axles right now. Plus I figure 28 spline would be alright as long as I dont leave 2 hard with slicks.

do yourself a favor. Take both mosers and turn one upside down into the other right side up (69 position) and make sure they are the exact same length. When I did my swap one was about 1/4" off and I didn't realize it untill I tried to install. that is probably just how my luck goes but it's better to be sure before you start the install. I'm sure this could happen with any brand.

Too late, my car and the axles are already at the shop ready to be installed here in a few mins. Since one of yours was longer than the other would they not install or what?

Axle Seal taps into the housing...itself...

[hr]

Just tap the seal in..... You dont have to have the seal pressed in?
Best pic I could find..

it's been years but if I remember the one side would not line up with the brakes. You'll probably be fine.
