Default Adjusting Air/Fuel ratio with SCT X2

I don't recall, but do I need to unplug the battery before I disconnect the fuel pump fuse and electric fan fuse? I've had a code saying that the car is too lean, so I want to adjust and make it not so lean anymore.

I could be wrong but that's only a percaution in case you have a crappy battery. I've flashed mine to the mongoose tune as well as made changes to the fuel both without pulling any fuses.

You can only adjust fuel at WOT. Other than that has to be done with the tuning software. Sounds like you might have another problem, it hsouldnt just go lean. Unplug the battery for a while and reset it... if it goes off again you have some kind of problem.

My problem is that I don't recall how long its been like that. I know for a fact I had that issue before I loaded my 93 tune in (which was almost 6 months ago...uh oh). At that point, I had an O/R H and a super sweet K&N filter for maximum performance gains at any RPM.

Last night I cleared the codes, started the car without the SES (service engine soon) light and let it sit for a few minutes. Then I turned off the car, checked if I had any errors, and 4 came up. Two were about oxygen sensors, one was about a purge control valve, and the last was about evaporative emissions control. At that point, nothing came up about running too lean, but I had not gone WOT during that time frame.

Man, my car is going to be a handful to get tuned once I get longtubes installed [:@]

bad 02s will make the car run rich, anyways sounds like you need to address those 4 codes before you do anything else
