so i know a guy who is trying to sell his strange 3.73 gears brand new for $100. most people i see use FRPP or motive gears, so does anyone have this brand. are they a good product?

 

id stick with the FRPP gears just because they are made by ford. just insures a better fit. not sure about strange though....dont know anybody with them.

 

gears with part numbers that end in A are made by ford, those that end in M are actually made by motive

 

Never heard of them. I used FRPP gears, so I would stick with a known brand.

 

I've never heard of them. I thought the thread meant the 3.73's you were posting about were strange, like odd or wierd, lol.

 

lol yeah, well i know they make quality suspension stuff. my buddy tells me to get them because that is a very good company, he also owns a fbody so maybe they are more popular for the gm stuff. we'll see i dont plan on doing gears for a while.

 

strange makes good rear end stuff too... ive been looking into their 31 spline axles for the past couple months.

 

Strange is a very competent provider of high performance parts--their gearsets are $159 new, soyou decide whether $100 is a good deal or not...
