Default Auto shift kit

Well I was looking around today at auto trannys and came across this and wanted to know if anyone had it on there car. Its not to expencive so I might just pick it up. I might be able to put it in my self if not I pretty sure it wont cost to much.

Search tccoa.com for the J-mod. Better than ANY shift kit made. The mod was written by the guy who designed the tranny.

Well I read just about everything on that site and basicly what I think he is trying to say is that 4R70W is the strongest tranny that a mustang came with. But it also says that you can manual shift it fine 1-2, 2-1 but not 1-D, 2-D. That its bad for it. But I read nothing really about a kit of this type. Other then the fact that I think that I learned that it would work for a 2002 even though it says 94-01?

+1 on the J-mod! Stay away from anything else. Too many issues with kits like Trans-go and the like.

Here's a link to the j-mod instructions....

Some of the holes in your '02 are already opened up, so you don't have to drill those locations.
Also, I'd recommend leaving the 1-2 and 2-3 bottom springs out. Don't replace them with a different spring.
Jerry did mine himself, and he left them out. Good enough for him, good 'nuff for me.
