Default Differential Fluid

Ok so yesterday I went to Autozone to get fluid, but i forgot what kind I needed and asked them what a Mustang takes and they said 80/90 and when I got home my piece of paper that I wrote down the type said 75/140. Can I run the 80/90 or does it have to be 75/140. Just because autozone didnt have 75/140 only thing they had close was 80/140

I don't think the weight will matter a whole lot, but you need to make sure you put in the ford friction modifier additive (some type of synthetic oil for the trac-lock)

just 1 will do, that stuff stinks too, like a rotten egg. My buddy just changed his dif fluid last weekend, put 1 bottle of the friction stuff, and 2 qts of valvoline

Lol yeah so I heard. Is the fill hole very difficult to get access to? i Heard its kind of a PITA because where it is and to get the bottle there to fill it up.

best way is to buy one of those cheap fluid pumps at autozone or checker and just pump it out of the bottle, way easier than messing around trying to get the bottle up there
