Ok comparing the 2, Flows have a deeper rumble at idle. At WOT the LM2 scream and have a pretty nice idle

i'd say LM2s have a better idle, cruise and WOT sound than flowmasters.

why did you make 2 completely different topics regarding exhaust?

I had flowmaster on my first set /up. Louder at idle and reving in neutral. The slp though are somewhat quiet at idle, moderate at rev. at neutral . At wot there twice as loud as flowmasters. Totally different sound. I still like the flowmaster old school sound, nothing will replace that sound. It's obnixious at wot for the SLPII, something Im willing to trade off on.

After having flowmaster super 40s, LM1s, and now LM2s, I completely agree with this post.

Heres my Flow 40's weld ons, with a catted X-pipe. Imagine an o/r....too bad I'm in CA, damn emissions laws...[>:]

Video does not do it any justice...but it gives you an idea...My buddy's got LMII's, and it was louder at WOT, but I like the sound of flows, much deeper.

And here is my friends ("Arwing", on the forums) 2006 GT with just the SLP cat-back...his car sounds amazing, but I just love the way flowmasters sound. I guess I just got used to it.
