Default CAI problem

i just installed a cold air intake from UPR. when i start the engine it has a unstable idle, thr rpm's go up and down. after i drive it for a while it returns mostly back to normal, keep in mind though its like 15 degrees in michigan where im driving it, is this normal? i have a 2004 GT mustang.

maybe its not to big of a problem... maybe u should unplug your battery, reset the ECU, then plug the battery back up and wait a couple days and see what happens, it looks to me like a lot of these idling problems that people have with new TBs etc etc are only problems that go away within a week because the ECY just need to get used to it ... who knows though
