Good Deal on MAM???

I have no idea what this part is or really does but I have seen many guys with them on there stangs. Could some one hook me up with some info on this part so I know what its purpose is? Is the price listed in the auction a rip or is is not too bad?

screw that , call tunable induction AKA desecharger because i see u have their CAI and ask demolet for a pro M mam to match ur intake... see what kind of price u get for that and i bet you itll be less than 220....

MAM is the thing directly behind your Air filter. As i understand it, the sensor on that measures the amount of air flow traveling into your intake. I went with a C&L package. It has a larger bore and places the sensor on the top of the tube rather than in the middle with the restrictive stock meshing. I forget the cost, but you can look it up at their site and compare if you wish. I also was told to go 80mm vs. 75mm. It's in the sig! Hope that helps! www.cnlperformance.com

no , it goes before the TB... there is a pipe that leads to the TB... it goes at the beggining of that pipe... and then another pipe is attached... which has the airfilter at the end of it....
AIR FILTER---->PIPE---->MAM---->PIPE---->TB--->PLENUM.....
thats how it goes .... atleast with our densechargers
on a complete C&L set up... it would be the air filter----MAM--- inlet pipe----TB...
but dont worry about other set ups, u have the densecharger so thats all that really matters

ya thats the one.... what year is your stang... i dont know what size MAM is better for pre99 stangs but i know 85 is good for 99+... give demolet a call, tell him u have the CAI and u want a new MAM for it... tell him the year of your car and hell hook u up with the right one.... give him a call tomrrow and order that MAM ... YA BABY!!!!!
