Default RE: 3.90's

I just got 3.73's installed and despite the better accelleration, I'm still trying to get used to driving with them. I drive on the highway a lot (no, I don't care about mileage) and they rev a little higher than I like.

The again, I was used to lugging around at 2k rpm a lot and I don't see under 2500 very much. On the good side, they pull like a champ and 5th gear actually seems usable. First gear is still usable for leaving the line quick but I usually don't use it. I imagine first doesn't get used much with 4.10's or 4.30's. I seem to be in boost a lot more too since the RPM's are usually much higher.

I do notice that even though nothing was done on the tranny side there's a much cleaner engagement when the clutch is released. Is that due to the stockers with 80k on them were a little worn possibly? I like them butwhen I get used to them I will probably love them.

The pull is great, at first it feels like double, but it's probably 15-20%. My traction with the 3.90's is actually pretty good. I was really suprised, unless I launch really hard I get barely any spin.

yea it was worth every penny. and the 3:90s seem almost to compliment the blower even more. i just think 4:10s were a bit steep for me, but to each his own i guess

any 1/4 mile times with the gears in? I'm still undecided on what I would like to get.

+1.... 3.73's on the highway seems like too much, i couldnt imagine imagine driving a lot on the highway with 4.10's. Kinda wish I kept the 3.27's.
