Default B*TCH A$$ GRILL DELETE

ok...i never thought installing a grill delete would be this hard...i just cant get this $hit to work...the main problem is that i have a Saleen bumper i believe...the f*cking body shop decided to buy a cheap, second grade, fiberglass saleen replica front bumper instead of a real one like i had requested...anyway here are some questions...is the bottom piece supposed to be spaced away from the bumper (1/4"???)??? Second...on the radiator cover piece, do those 2 ears on the sides with the push pins have holes to go in??? 3rd im glad that i now know that you have to shorten the bottom bolts because i have a nice little bubble in my brand new grill delete......anything else i should know before i mess this up even more????

the lower piece should sit flush with the bumper cover. And for the upper piece it should have wholes for the push pins. I removed my headlights to get better access to the lower screws for the bottom piece

ok what the f*ck...................................what screws do i use to put the emblem on????????????

it looks like $hit.....half inch gap on the bottom and on the sides between the bumper cover and the bottom piece....its a Ford part....i think i need to just take the car down to my insurance company and say that im not happy with the bumper that was supplied...its second grade...the parts dont fit...theres gaps under the headlights and the grill, its wavy on the bottom..it doesnt align with the car...dont you think that this would be something that is covered by insurance??? its not like it was before the wreck...dont they have to fix it again???

It's not your insurance companies problem...yet.

If the Saleen Clone job was done using an insurance check, it's still the body shops problem. You need to get in touch with them about their work.

I just ended up using two of the bolts that held the stock grill in.

It will be, but do it anyway [8D]

I used the screws that held my stock pony on also.

When I installed mine it really was not that bad. I just took the headlights off and had plenty of room. Yea the screws on the bottom still sucked. I went to OSH and got some 1/4 nylon bushing for the space. Worked just fine. For the screws to hold the emblem up i got some self locking screws or something like that to make it harder to steal the emblem!!
