My alternator went out (so i thought) and so i finnaly got my 200amp installed today and my lights still go dim at idle and whenever i get at past 6k rpm my battery light comes on my dash..oh well..i guess im gona have to put it in the shop any da*m ways

My alternator light would flicker past 5000 rpms.... i found out that it was because my cracked water crossover would spew water into the alt when the water pressure built up enough....course thats prolly not your problem
