Well i just got the car back from the dealer. They reflashed the computer and reset all the values that got ****ed by the tuner, so now it runs fine. Only problem is that it doesnt shift as hard as it used to. I loved bein jerked outta my seat when the car shifted. This leads me to believe that the car mighta been tweaked when i first bought it.

I guess its gonna save some wear on my tranny tho, if the shift pressure was knocked down. And the techs suggest if i wanna change anything in the future to try gettinga chip or something instead of using a handheld tuner. [&:] One of em even told me "My brother in law had his car messed up by an sct handheld tuner, so i recommend u stay away from em."

Hahahahah what a tool.

So what happened with your tuner?

It wasnt mine it was a friends. He took the tune off of his and they tried usin the tuner on my car. The tuner and my car didnt get along. [&:] Techs said based on the values the computer was spitting out, the tuner assraped my cars computer hardcore somehow. Nobody knows how or why, but they had to reset my cars computer completely. One of the guys suggested that the tuner may not have been unlocked completely, or that SCT is real **** about usina tuner on more than one car. Jim's Diablo tuner was also used on millers car and neither of em had problems. [&:]

How much did that end up costing?

Actually a fast shift isn't bad for the transmission. When ever you are between gears basically your transmission is just slipping. So the faster you get into the next gear the better it is for the transmission.

No. Just performance tune. The stock tune gets stored in the tuner when you put the performance tune in.
