mine use to do that when running rich and hitting the rev limiter... my friends cobra does that when he shifts... also boosted.

Its just part of shifting hard on a FI car, sometimes it will do it, sometimes not.

Espcially if you hit the limter, or just shift really hard it happens. You suddenly get off the throttle and shift hard and some extra fuel doesn't get burned.
