I have that same adapter, it is awesome. I recommend it to everyone.

One last question....
When I typed in my car (2003 GT Vert with Mach 1000) it came up with this as the install sheet:
Installation Details for your 2003 Mustang
» Factory radio must have a button labeled "COMP" and another button labeled "SHUFFLE".
» You will need to disconnect the external factory CD changer, if you have one, and connect the new adapter in its place.
» The factory radio must not have a built-in CD changer.
» Adapter plugs into the factory radio.
» Unit has 2 sets of stereo RCA inputs.
» The Crutchfield MasterSheet, if available, does not cover OEM integration.
I *don't* have a *COMP* button, but I do have a *Shuffle* button.
Also, like the Mach 460, I *DO* have a built in CD changer (inside the unit, not external).
When I went to the USASPEC website, they don't make any mention of this and all they say is that it will work
with the Mach 1000 and you use the CD button and Track 6 button to make it work.
Do you have a COMP button ?
Does the unit need it to work?
TIA
Steve
P.S Finding information on this Mach 1000 is a nightmare. Personally I think it sounds decent so an iPod hookup (actually I have a Creative Zen Vision M ) would be a real find.

I don't have a comp button. You do indeed use the CD button and the track 6 button on the mach systems. It will work.
Hope this helps.

Thanks so much!!
I'm going to order it from Crutchfield as it looks like the perfect unit for me.
