Default SCT or Predator tuner????

Hey there every one, I'm looking to buy a tuner and wanted to know what is the best for my car the Predator or SCT. Also has any one heard of a Grannatelli Fuego tuner?? As always thanks.

I've seen the Granatelli in ads, but I don't know much about it. I would find out whatyour local shop uses and go with that. Even if you only use the canned tune for now, at least later you won't have to replace it if the shop uses another to upload their tunes....

We have a mustang performace shop here, they are a SCT dealer and have a dyno, so they could give me a dyno tune if I had the SCT. I always see the predators cheaper used.

Probably because they're slightly more popular. I neglegted to mention (although I can't explain how) that the SCT does "communicate" with your computer a little better than the Predator. Since the shop uses it, go with the SCT if you can...

I think that is what I'm going to do, thanks. I want to save to get the Roush s/c so my next set of mods will be a 75mm throttle body and a tuner.

find a shop close to you that you think you would go to to have your car tuned. Find out which they use and buy that tuner. Even if you have no plans of a dyno tune right now, you never know when you'll want a nitrous tune or come across a supercharger for cheapp or somethin.

i've had both tuners, sold my predator because all the talk on here about sct. You can have a 2 step rev limiter with the sct on a 5 speed car but mine has never worked right anyway.

Just buy whichever your local shop uses, if anyone else tells your different they are stupid.
