any side effects of cams

i decided to go with vt cams stage one for my 02 auto, but befor that i want to ask is there any side effect for the engine specially for a daily driving?

No there are no side effects as ar as drivabililty ive had mine for a year. It dropped my mpg from 20-21 to 16-17 but its worth it it really wakes the car up.

do you mean that the fuel will run out more then before? because now it only stand for couple days :s

4-5mpg loss is severe... i only lost 1-2 ... maybe 4-5 cause of the lead foot?? haha

mpg shouldnt be too low if you get a tune, I still get 23mpg with my mods and tune.

that sound good, because i drive my car nearly 3 hours a day so i hope there will be no effect on my stangafter i install the cams

**** i don't have a cam and i do 16 but i shift a little higher and hit it everyonce in a while, but highway i get 24 somewhere around there.
