I would be cutting the shaft that is in the middle of the maf not widening the diameter.

i cut the shaft in mine just to let you know you wont notice any gains but if you widen it or buy a bigger MAF housing the 24lb inj. will work just make sure you use that tuner...and you'll be fine

Why dont you just try porting out the intake elbow instead of screwing with the MAF?

intake mods on a n/a boltons only 2v do very little, and the stock maf is the least restrictive part.

My money says other than leaning out the mix there isn't any power to be had. If you want to lean out hte car a little SAFELY get a handheld tuner, you will see just as good/better gains anyway.

In any case, on a boltons only NPI car like yours intake mods do virtually nothing. MM@FF did a big multi part test on a NPI car, and when they did the intake boltons it acutally LOST power until they started doing cams/exhaust/headwork. Simply not worth it IMO.

id buy a new one than make modifications to the stock one i did modify one of mine once didnt work out so well so i bought a 80mm
