Default quieter exhaust

Anybody know some catbacks that will keep roughly the same sound levels as stock? when I get my GT i plan on some BBK LT headers, and a BBK Xpipe, and I thought about magnapacks but I don't like loud exhausts. I want something freer flowing but sounds just as good as stock (if not a little better)

Personal experience and some links would be appreciated.

hmmm I dont have personal experience but I did alot of research when trying to come up with my combo. I would say if you want it to be a little louder than stock, but not too much more maybe try the magnaflow catback instead of the packs. Also Borla i think makes a catback besides the stingers that aren't as aggressive as the stingers.

I would say the closest thing to stock but with a tad but more rumble would be Flowmaster 50 series as long as toy have the stock mid pipe.

So the flowmaster50s would be quite a bit louder with an x pipe?

I'm gonna look up the borla, but I remember reading (I think) about Magnaflows not being worth it?

Magnaflows are really loud o an X pipe. Any kind of muffler you put on an X is gonna be loud is you get on it. Best to use the stockers with the X pipe if you are looking to be quiet.

i see i see. Thanks for the info, so would it be worth it to go with the LT headers and a borla/magnaflow catback on the stock x pipe hp gains wise?

I think changing out your midpipe nets a nice gain. Why don't you want your exhaust to be loud? just wondering

I just don't like loud exhausts. It stems from my similar hatred for fart pipes on Civics. I like to be seen but not heard, especially by the cops who can get quite **** around town.
