Default turn signals broke...?

Anyone else have this problem? I think it might be related to the brake switch because it sometimes works when i hit the brakes. Also sometimes when i hit the brakes of the turn signals will stay on solid...quite akward I think.

Did you check your blinker fluid?

The yellow flasher unit thing under the center console probably went bad... but I don't know how you can test it. A new one is $20-30? You'll see it on the driver's side if you lay upside down with your head up by the pedals, it's against the center console and yellow... it's tough to get out though.

Mine has been doing the same thing recently. What exactly needs to be replaced?

mine was doing the same thing. It is the little yellow box under the steeringwheel/dash. Mine got so hot that the little switch would stick together cuasing it to stay on and not blink. I took it off and put it in the fridge to cool it down, put it back on the car and has worked perfect for the past 2 weeks.

i'll try the freezer effect first! blinker fluid...haha that got old in the ****ing first grade. I'm a god damn toyota tech not a ford tech. The blinkers sometimes works when i mess with it while on the brakes...its weird. or sometimes if i hit the brakes one would stay on, then if I touched the turnsignal it would go off...I just dont have anytime to work on it so I was wondering if anyone else has the problem. Its probably a TSB...i'll look it up at lunch tomorrow.
