Default Quad Shocks

I recall reading that when you lower your stang you no longer need quad shocks, Can someone shed some light on this, also what effect do they have on drag launches?

Thanks,

E.

Quad shocks help eliminate wheel hop you should not remove themuntil you upgrade your control arms.
