you can always torch the nut and get it cherry hot. then it will come right off lol i do it all day on f250's with exhuast manifold leaks. they come right out like they were new.

I did it the other day on an Escalade. Although, I wouldn't recomend using a torch if he's doing this install on jackstands and laying on his back, lol.

What do you mean you have no option to take the K-member off. If you would have done that in the first place you probably would have been done already. It is very simple to do if you know how to work on a car and my car didn't need an alignment after I was done.

+1, that stuff is amazing. Go to autozone, ask someone to show you where it is. Some people have sucess with WD-40 for stuck exhaust bolts, but this stuff literally eats through rust faster than an Asian at a hot dog contest [8D]
This might be way off topic, but the asian lost this year's hot dog eating contest to the American.

Im buying the stage 8's is it necessary to get new gaskets...or are the stocks alright with the stage 8's?
I'd buy a new set of stock gaskets for your longtubes.

PB blaster is nothing for some of these rust buckets. Heat!!! Torch it for 10 straight minutes that sucker will loosen up.

Anyways, removing theKmember is the only way to go. The second time when I put a new tranny in we tried to unbolt the motor mounts and use a cherry picker as high as it will go without ripping hoses off, after about 15 seconds of trying like that the kmember came off.
