Default When to tune?

At what point is a tune worth it?

All I have right now is a catback, gears and a K&N filter. Everything else isn't performance really. If I were to get a midpipe, intake and TB/Plenum combo, would it be worth it to tune it?

I don't plan on getting an intake or TB/Plenum but I do plan on getting a mid pipe. After that, I am going to be doing suspension and visual mods. Would a tune be worth it with just a midpipe?

I already have the SCT so that wouldn't be needed.

thanks

I'd say a canned tune, yes, it'd be worth it. Has your speedo been corrected for the gears? Are you going to get an o/r pipe?

A custom dyno tune? No.

Unless you chage heads and/or cams, add juice or FI,I would not spend the money on a dyno tune.
